In August 2005, Master Ting took a group of students to China.  On the way they stopped in Tokyo, Japan to visit the Wu Ji Jing Gong Association directed by Master Xue Yongbin.  Master Xue and his students hosted a warm welcome with a banquet for all.  Both groups bonded together by sharing demonstrations of Tai Chi, sword form, and push hands play.  Master Ting and his students were deeply moved by the hospitality of their new found friends and look back on the visit with fond memories.
