Brian has had a long interest in Tai Chi and other related healing arts.
Over 30 years ago, in 1973, he began a practice of Yoga which expanded to include Sufi Meditation, Qigong and Tai Chi, and the clinical studies of Oriental medical methodologies.
Over time he has studied with many Tai Chi Masters and sampled many Tai Chi styles,
starting in 1978 with a Yang style he became a student of Cheng-Hsiang Yu in 1990 and continued to study with him until 1999.
He studied Soaring Crane Qigong with Jin-Xiang Zhao in 1991, and from 1999-2000 studied with Dr. Paul Lam.
From 2002-present Brain has been studying with Master William Ting, in Wu Ji Qigong, Wu Ji Jing Gong Tai Chi, and Tai Chi principles.
Brian is also an authorized instructor and maintains a private practice of Clinical Qigong using the methods of Dr. Tzu-Kuo Shih, with whom he continues to study.
He is a gradute of Nan Jing University of traditional Chinese Medicine, 2000. In that same year, Brian along with Fran Maher presented an article: Qigong for Treatment of Anxiety, at the Bejing Medical Conference.
Since 1994 has practiced as a FL licensed massage therapist specializing in Clinical Qigong.
